1. Mystic Hot Springs

Location & Access: Located in Monroe, Utah, Mystic Hot Springs is about a 2.5-hour drive from Salt Lake City. To get there, take I-15 S to exit 188 for UT-118 towards Monroe. Continue on UT-118 S and follow the signs to 475 E 100 N, Monroe, UT 84754, where you’ll find the hot springs nestled on the edge of town. The property offers parking, and visitors are encouraged to check in at the main office upon arrival. 

2. Meadow Hot Springs 

Meadow Hot Springs is a collection of three geothermal pools located on private land in the small town of Meadow. These crystal-clear pools offer a range of temperatures, making them suitable for soaking in any season. Location & Access: Meadow Hot Springs is located just south of the town of Meadow, off I-15. To get there, take I-15 to exit 158 for Meadow. Turn west onto UT-133, and after about a mile, turn left onto a dirt road just before the town. Follow this road for about a mile until you see the hot springs on your right. Parking is available along the road, and a short walk will take you to the pools. Please remember to respect the private property and leave no trace. 

3. Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon 

Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon is not a natural hot spring but a geothermally heated swimming pool located in a unique volcanic rock canyon. The pool is fed by a natural warm spring, maintaining a comfortable temperature year-round. Location & Access: Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon is located in Veyo, Utah, about 20 minutes north of St. George. To get there, take UT-18 N from St. George and turn left onto Center Street in Veyo. Follow Center Street for about half a mile, and you’ll see the entrance to Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon on your left. There is a parking lot and a small entrance fee to access the pool and canyon amenities.

Location & Access: Saratoga Hot Springs is located in Saratoga Springs, about a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City. To get there, take I-15 S to exit 282 for UT-85 N/Redwood Rd. Follow UT-85 N/Redwood Rd to W Lakeshore Dr in Saratoga Springs. Turn left onto W Lakeshore Dr, and then take the first right to stay on W Lakeshore Dr. Follow the road to Inlet Park, where you’ll find the hot springs near the shore of Utah Lake. Parking is available at the park. 

2. Ogden Hot Springs 

Ogden Hot Springs is a collection of natural hot pools located along the Ogden River. These springs offer a rustic and serene soaking experience, surrounded by the beautiful Ogden Canyon. Parking is available along the road, and the springs are accessible via a short hike from the parking area.

Follow N Main St through Henefer, and then turn right onto E 100 N. Continue on this road, which turns into a dirt road, for about 2 miles until you reach the hot springs. Parking is available along the road, and the springs are a short walk from the parking area.

The facility offers ample parking and is equipped with changing rooms and other amenities for a comfortable visit. 

2. Fifth Water Hot Springs (Diamond Fork Hot Springs)

Fifth Water Hot Springs, also known as Diamond Fork Hot Springs, is a secluded natural wonder located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The hike to the springs is a moderate 4.5-mile round trip, offering stunning views of the surrounding forest, wildlife, and the occasional glimpse of beautiful waterfalls. 

Location & Access: The trailhead to Fifth Water Hot Springs is in Diamond Fork Canyon, approximately an hour’s drive from Provo. From US-6 E, take the Diamond Fork exit and follow the signs to the Three Forks Trailhead. The hot springs are about 2.2 miles from the trailhead. The trail is well-maintained, but it’s advisable to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. 

3. Homestead Crater 

The Homestead Crater is a unique geothermal spring nestled within a 55-foot-tall limestone dome, offering a one-of-a-kind soaking experience. From Park City, take US-189 S/US-40 E towards Heber City, then turn left onto River Rd, and finally right onto N Homestead Dr to reach the resort. Reservations are recommended, as the crater is a popular attraction.

4. Baker Hot Springs 

Baker Hot Springs is a lesser-known gem located in the remote desert of Utah’s west desert near the town of Delta. Follow this road for about 12 miles, then turn left onto a dirt road marked by a small sign for the hot springs. The road can be rough, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. After about 4 miles, you’ll reach the parking area for Baker Hot Springs. From there, it’s a short walk to the springs.
